Welcome to Australia's First Travel & Adventure Online Community Exclusively for Women.
Sue Hile - Club Founder & Chief Adventurous Woman
Sue H. is the mover & shaker behind Adventurous Women. Apart from overseeing all club activity & organizing tours, it's likely that she will be your Tour Host on either a 'relaxing' or 'adventurous' trip, as she loves a bit of both! You will also see her at many of the AW activities or social occasions....be warned, she's very laid back and never takes herself too seriously!!!
Sue O'Connor - Assistant Adventurous Woman/ Tour Guide Sue O...(often confused with Sue H) has also been an integral part of AW since it's inception and therefore has a wealth of knowledge which she is happy to share with other members. Sue O has a is also frequently hosting some of our more 'extreme' and/or 'adventurous' tours and activities. She's often found on top of mountains or crewing on tall ships!!!
Janette Philp - Tour Guide
Jazzy, as she's fondly known has always preferred hiking boots to high heels and loves the thrill of a challenge! Mountains, jungles, peaks, trails... she's trekked the globe and loves sharing her passion with others.
Anna Crampton - Tour Guide
Anna loves to be in the water either swimming or kayaking. She loves a challenge and will have a go at anything although she is scared of heights! She loves the theatre, movies and going to all the festivals that Perth has to offer.
One of Anna’s favorite annual events is the Augusta Adventure race when the Adventurous Women camaraderie and team spirit really shines!!
Leonie Searle - Tour Guide & SA Coordinator
Leonie's our girl on the ground in South Australia, organising events in the local area. She is an avid runner and hiker, and has participated in marathons and endurance events, but is just as happy walking with a group and sharing her knowledge, or helping those in need.
She is adventurous, bubbly, outgoing and loves cooking. If you're in SA, look for her trekking the Adelaide hills or enjoying a nice drop of Barossa wine
